You can now shop and save with Feed the Children Australia using a special online shopping portal. More stores will be added during the next few months but you can already find DVDs, music, furniture, computer equipment, office supplies, jewelry and lots, lots more.

The site is still being developed but you can register and shop now to get great savings.

To access the Feed the Children Australia shopping portal simply visit www.feedthechildrenshop.org.au which will take you to the splash pages.

You will need to register before you can start shopping by clicking here or by selecting the register now option while you look around on the shopping centre and auction site.

To skip the explanatory splash pages and get straight into the great savings available go to online.feedthechildrenshop.org.au.

When you first enter the site you are taken to the international auction pages. As this is an international site, please check the supplier ships to Australia (which you can do by looking at the more details option of the item you are looking at and checking the shipping costs - if it lets you check the cost for Australia, they ship here).

There are specific Australia and New Zealand auction pages and an Australian flag appears next to most products in the general auction pages which can be shipped down under.

If you would prefer to visit the shopping mall, simply click the shopping option in the top left on the page. If your computer does not automatically detect that you are in Australia, you may have to select the Australian flag in the top right of the shopping mall (which we call the Australian Rewards Mall) to make sure you are accessing the many local suppliers.

The Australian Rewards Mall includes only Australian-based merchants and customers pay for purchases in Australian dollars only. Whether you fancy Apple AU or Expedia Australia, the Australian Rewards Mall has something for everyone.

The Australian Rewards Mall pays you to shop. With 19 shopping categories to choose from, you can do all your shopping with Feed the Children Australia and get rewarded.

Once you login to the Australian Rewards Mall you can pick a merchant by name or by browsing through the shopping categories. Each merchant will have a percentage listed beside it; this is the rewards percentage (1 rewards point = 1 AUD) you will receive back following any purchase you make from that merchant. For example, if you wanted to buy a pair of $100 boots from Ugg Zone, who pay 5% in rewards, you will receive $5.00 in rewards…it’s that simple.

Just click on as many merchants as you wish and do your shopping. Within one week you will see the transaction history and points earned back on your personal Mall shopping page. After 45 days (all the stores require this waiting period) your points become available for you to spend. Points=Cash will be loaded on a personal Debit Card. Imagine how quickly your cash value reward points can accumulate when you are shopping at more than 450 stores.

And every time you spend any money, whether in the Rewards Mall or in an auction. a donation is made to Feed the Children Australia.

This truly is a way to shop and save (a life).
